Farah hesitated. "I couldn't burden you with something like that."

" I wanna help far.. just let me."

Farah sighed. "Fine, you can… be in charge of the Specialists…" she relented.

" thank you. I'm also taking a class off your back if you don't mind."

Farah tilted her head and narrowed her eyes. "It depends on which class."

" just a training class chill. I'd like to make sure the future gen is prepared for real life "

Farah nodded reluctantly. "Alright…"

Saul kissed her, giving her hips a gentle rub against him. " Thank you."

Farah kissed back, but it wasn't the same as before Aster Dell. She seemed more reserved now. Cut off.

Saul noticed, a small frown stayed on his face " far.. is there something wrong?"

Farah smiled faintly. "No. I'm fine."

" you know you can talk to me right?"

Farah nodded. "I know. Come on, I have to get to Rosalind's–" She stopped herself. "My office."

Saul sighed " alright.."

Farah led the way to her new office hesitating at the entrance before stepping in.

Saul held her by her waist the whole time. Once they got in he picked her up and laid down on one of the couches, leaving her on his chest " take a break for a moment.."

Farah gasped. "Saul, I have work to do."

" I don't care Farah, you need a break from everything that just happened"

Farah sighed quietly. "I can't take breaks anymore, Saul."

" well you need them now more than ever.."

Farah winced. "And I'm telling you I can't take them. I need to work."

" Farah" he said sternly, his voice husky for a moment

The tone in his voice made her freeze, and she looked down at him with wide eyes.

" just listen to me, you need to rest before you over work your self. You've been through a lot."

"I can't have the school waiting on me because I feel a bit tired," Farah objected. "I have to get Alfea settled first."

" I don't fucking care Farah. Sleep."

She shook her head. "I physically can't."

" and why not?" He asked as he ran his fingers in her hair.

Farah sighed quietly. "Every time I close my eyes… I see the remains of Aster Dell."
