Her lips pulled into a smirk. "You've got me quite intrigued now."

" youll find out tonight,"

Farah visibly shivered. "I need to be able to walk tomorrow, Silva."

"and?" he asked tauntingly

Farah inhaled sharply and lifted her chin, not saying a word.

They walked along for an hour or so before the sun began to sink in the sky and Rosalind turned to face her battalion. "Let's set up camp for the night. We'll reach Aster Dell in the morning," she commanded.

Ben began to use his magic and construct a temporary shelter.

saul sighed, he wouldnt sleep without farah to cuddle…

"Saul, Andreas," Rosalind commanded. "Go gather firewood. Farah, you come with me."

Farah nodded and moved away from Saul to follow Rosalind.

saul went into the woods, listening sharply for any sounds

Andreas went with him. "Relax, Saul," he teased good-naturedly, casually giving him a shoulder-check.

" about what?! im worried for farah!" hed forgotten andreas didnt know about them

Andreas looked confused. "Why would you need to be worried about Farah? I get that she's your fairy partner, but she can handle her own, and besides, these woods aren't dangerous at all."

saul sighed. " might a well say it now…" he mumbled " me and farah.. are dating.." he said softly

Andreas nearly tripped on a tree root. "You're dating Farah?!"

"yes. got a problem?" he asked a little sharply

"Is that why she wouldn't marry me?" he asked incredulously. "She's in love with you."

"yes.." he said and rubbed the back of his neck. " i was there when you asked. hiding in the bathroom actually "

Andreas backed away from him, shaking his head. "I thought you were my friend, Saul…"

" andreas i am, theres nothing different with me then ten minutes ago." he said

The gruff man shook his head. "I've loved Farah for years!"

" and shes loved me for years. its nothing i can help im sorry "

Andreas stormed away angrily.

Saul sighed, grabbing the wood.

"Is there something you wanted to talk to me about, Headmistress?" Farah asked, walking patiently with Rosalind.

"Farah," Rosalind began. "You're my protégé, so the coming generations of Alfea will rely on you. I need to know your commitment to the school's values. My values."

The young fairy nodded her head quickly. "Of course, I'm loyal to you," Farah promised.

"Good," Rosalind murmured. "Because you must be strong on the way to Aster Dell. It will take powerful magic to eradicate the Burned Ones there, and you need a clear mind."

Farah nodded again. "Of course."

Saul started the fire as the glairs from Andreas only got worse “ got something to say?” He snapped

Andreas glared back. "Not to you."
