If you go to a movie theater and see a movie.. is anyone gonna notice you going into another theater after your movie is finished to see another movie (like without paying for the ticket)? Like are they watching people to make sure they don’t do that? I’ve never seen anyone at a theater entrance who stops you from entering and asks you for confirmation.

I might of done that before…

The more people who have said they’ve done this the more I want to, and yet I know I could not

C: "You need to address your own issues before you can truly help others."
D: "And what issues would that be, oh wise one?"
C: Your unresolved trauma, for one."
D: mockingly "Don't you have unresolved trauma as well?"

i swear, every time i work with this one dude in my culinary class, i feel like he's silently judging me…no, i know he's silently judging me. and he always ends up taking control of everything so I'm pretty much just standing there not knowing what to do because he literally does everything himself. it's almost like this guy hasn't heard about teamwork.

Would compadre be the gender neutral term? Like this is a legit question. I took Spanish for three years, but gender neutral terms really never came across my scope of thinking.

not really, as compadre just means godfather while comadre means godmother. but many people call their close friends compadre/comadre. The thing about Spanish is that there is really not any gender-neutral words. The supposed gender-neutral word of Latino/a is Latinx, but the word is actually highly unpopular and many of us either use latino or latina.

BIL's cat got outside yesterday. He loves walks and whines at the door when its sunny, but needs an escort, because he'll run away and get into trouble otherwise.

Went looking for him so I could give him cuddles, right as my MIL came inside from cleaning up the porch. Neither of us could see the cat but no biggie, there's plenty of spots he likes to hide in. Except, after ten minutes of casually searching and calling, he didn't turn up.
I realized I kept finding myself looking out of the windows, and when we still couldn't find him anywhere in the house, I decided to look outside. On a hunch, I brought one of his new toys with me, a bird-shaped thing with a long tail and a bell inside.
The yard to the left of our house meets up with a little wooded area, and as I rounded this side, I spotted the cat sniffing at a tree about 15-20 feet inside. Rang the bell inside his toy and he immediately came running, chirping away because he was outside! And it was warm and sunny and he was on an adventure-
I scooped him right up and brought him inside, where he was promptly cuddled by everyone in the house because he gave them such a scare. I think I was the only one who WASN'T worried. I'm not sure how to explain it – somehow I just kinda knew that he was safe.
