She quickly took a picture of Alex and sent it to the app she had used earlier. She bit her lip when she saw the results. Another one. . An idea popped into her head and she scanned the whole room with her phone. Seconds later, there was information about everyone in the room. There all criminals, crime lords, or creators of crime groups. Holy shit.
“Iris, where’s Channing and Linnaea? We can’t start without them.” Alex whispered.
Iris only shrugged and dragged Stephanie to somewhere. Stephanie sighed and cursed under her breath.

"Stephanie. Peter has weaseled enough information out of Linnaea. He's gonna lure her to the bathroom and then take her to S.H.I.E.L.D., just like I did with Channing. I'm gonna stay here on the floor. You stay doing…whatever you're doing."

Iris dragged her to a room and then looked down at her. “Sorry, but not sorry. I can’t let you hear all the info we’re about to say, because I’m sure you’re going to run to your little super-hero friends and tell them all the information.” With that, she left the room, but not before locking it.
“Blythe, I just found a whole room filled with criminals, crime-lords, and creators of big crime groups. And apparently, they’re all waiting for Channing and Linnaea to start what I guess is a meeting.”
She crouched down and took out a metal insect from one of the hidden pockets on her dress. She put the insect on the ground and turned it on. The insect immediately went through the gap from the bottom of the door and into the other room. Whatever the metal insect heard, she would be able to hear it too by a earphone that was connected to the insect. Thank god for Wakanadian technology.

"OK. Just…stay safe and don't do anything dumb. I'm going to go with Peter to S.H.I.E.L.D. to make it easier to interrogate the two of them. If there's a lot of people who are suspects in there, listen in. We're counting on you, OK?"

@spacebluelily language

“At the moment, I’m not in the position to do anything dumb, so you don’t have to worry about nothing. Yeah, you go with Peter and I’ll stay here, don’t you worry your pretty little head.”

Blythe blushed. No matter how many times she told herself that she hated being complimented on her looks, she would always blush. It didn't matter who it was, she would blush. "OK. But, still. Stay safe."

@spacebluelily language

“I will, I wouldn’t put myself in danger when everyone is counting on me.” Stephanie smiled and cut the connection between them. She put on the earbud that would let her hear what they say on the other room.

“We have to start, we can’t continue waiting. The night will be over and we won’t be able to do anything.” A random man said.
Then Iris started talking, saying it was such a honor to be a part of them and that she was able to do this with them. Stephanie was confused in what she meant by “this”, but she continued listening.

"What's Stephanie doing?" Peter asked once they had Linnaea in custody.
"She has to attend to other matters."
"Oh, OK." Peter had Linnaea in his arms and had suited up. Blythe quickly checked to see if Channing was still there and saw that he wasn't, a small note left by Tony.
"Let's go," She said, climbing on Peter's back.

“First of all, New York, and not only New York sees us as criminals. As people who can’t be else than Criminals. Which is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. We’re more than criminals. We’re like villains, well, at least to some people. Our goal is to bring New York down to it’s knees with all this crime. It’ll come to a point that not even the Police will be able to arrest the many criminals out on the streets.”
Clapping was heard, and Stephanie didn’t even need the earphone to hear the clapping. The clapping was so loud, that even the people outside of the meeting room could hear. Stephanie sighed and fidgeted with her necklace. “Lords, Iris, you have the mind of a villain.” Stephanie mumbled.

For any other person, it might be hard to hold on to Peter. He was rocketing through the sky, using the repulsors to go faster. But it was easy for Blythe, who could just stick to him. She considered webbing part of his suit and dangling behind, but that would be too much work.

Stephanie looked around in the room she was locked in and spotted a spider. She jumped to her feet and quickly went as far away from the spider. The spider just kept crawling toward her. She sighed, approached the spider, stretched her middle finger along with her index finger and thumb out and drew a circle in the air, big enough for the spider to go through it. The spider went through it and she quickly closed the portal.

It didn't take long for the trio to reach headquarters. Peter was fast and knew exactly where he was going. When they arrived, Linnaea was put into a cell, one next to Channing.

She sighed and stood up, walked over to the door and just stared at her. The next room had gotten awfully quiet, something Stephanie didn’t like one bit. A whole lot of possibilities on why they had gotten quiet ran through her head, and none of them were good. “Come on, talk already. Spill the damn tea,” Stephanie mumbled under her breath.

Peter set down, and Blythe hopped off his back and onto the ground. "Thanks for the ride," She said. Then she turned to Fury and Hill, who had been waiting for them. "We found Linnaea and Channing, and they're definitely suspects. Steph is doing her own investigation."

@spacebluelily language

Stephanie heard the voice of an older man telling the others to be quiet. It gave her the impression that he was the one in control of everything. She sighed and started hearing every single bit of information they were saying. Their plan? She had no idea what it was. Stephanie knew Iris’s true intentions. She wanted to take down the Avengers, which was a bit surprising to Stephanie when she first found out.

"Linnaea Adam and Ethan Channing," Hill started. "We have info on them. We'll pull it up and have a look. They'll stay here overnight."
"What do you want us to do?" Blythe asked. Hill and Fury shared a look.

@spacebluelily language

Stephanie heard what she had to hear. She whispered something through the bottom of the door, and immediately the metal bug came back to her without letting the others see it. Stephanie didn’t need to hear anymore. They had given her enough information. She took off the earphones that had let her hear everything in the other room and took a deep breath before contacting Blythe. “So, Blythe. You know how you and Peter left to take Ethan and Linnaea to S.H.I.E.L.D?”

Blythe was interrupted by a call. Normally she would ignore it, but once she saw it was Stephanie she had to answer it. She had no time to even say hello before the girl on the other end started talking. She listened to what was being said. "Yeah? They're right here, in some cells. Is something wrong? Do you want me to put you on loud speaker? Hill and Fury are here."
"Fury and Hill," Fury stated.
"Shut up old man."

@spacebluelily language

Stephanie stayed quiet for a few moments, wondering how to answer Blythe. After another couple of moments, she sighed and looked up at the ceiling, a somewhat creepy smile slowly appearing. “Sure, go ahead and put me on loudspeaker.”

Deleted user

"OK, give me a minute to sort it out." She then spoke to F.R.I.D.A.Y., who was embedded in her suit. "F.R.I.D.A.Y., please put the call on loudspeaker at full volume."
"Certainly, Blythe."

@spacebluelily language

“Alright, just tell me when you got everything sorted out.” Stephanie said as she fumbled with the metal bug that she was holding in her outstretched hand. It seemed like it had a mind of it’s own and was avoiding being put away.

Blythe put her phone on a table in the center of the room as Stephanie's voice suddenly filtered through on loudspeaker. "OK, it's set up. Start talking when you're ready."

@spacebluelily language

“So while you brought those two to S.H.I.E.LD I managed to find a whole room of definite suspects. All crime-lords, criminals, etc. It seemed like they were there for a meeting and they couldn’t start without Ethan and Linnaea. Probably because those two are the second in command. Then an older man came in, yelled at everyone in the room for not starting and all of that. They then started explaining their plan, which apparently is to do what they do best. Also, on a unrelated note, one of them wants to take down the Avengers.”

Deleted user

"One of them? It has to be more than that, right? Much as I hate to admit it, the Avengers have a lot of enemies." Blythe tried to rack her brain as to who it could be, though there were many.

@spacebluelily language

“Nope. Well as far as I know it’s only one of them. Quite powerful too. She’s someone who doesn’t play around and is always serious. Well, maybe not always serious, but mostly she’s serious. Not only is she powerful, she’s dangerous too.” Stephanie said with a sigh.

Deleted user

"What's her name? We'll probably have a database on her. Someone as powerful as you say isn't going to be secret."

@spacebluelily language

“Iris S-“ She stopped herself from saying the rest. “Iris. Just Iris. I doubt there’s any information about Iris, but go ahead and try. If you find none, I know someone who might know something.”

Deleted user

"Iris who?" Fury interrupted. "You can't give us half a name, Miss Campbell. We need the full name. I know for a fact that our databases have multiple Iris' in it."

@spacebluelily language

Stephanie bit her lip, trying to refrain herself from saying something insulting. She sighed and tried to calm herself down. “I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you the full name. I’d be in a heap of trouble if I do.”
She then added, “But of course, you won’t be able to understand.” Stephanie mumbled that part as low as possible.

Deleted user

"Damn it, Campbell!"
"Fury! She's not one of your agents! She's a kid!" Hill was often the only one to calm Fury down.
