"Nice to meet you, Seong-Jin. Oh and if you want you can call me Malachai." He answers excitedly, happy to finally make a friend, as he shakes Seong-Jin's hand.

Then brings his hand back to his side.

"Malachai it is."
He also pulls his hand back then kind of runs his hand through his hair. he takes his cloak completely off to where his wings can stretch.
oh no does it look like im showing off
He thinks to himself as he gets a little Nervous.

"Cool wings!! And no it doesn't look like you're showing off." He says with a smile.

"ah sorry, I mean thanks? Um they just need to stretch….."
He spreads them out the folds them in, and he does that a few time while rotating his shoulder (does that make sense?)

They keep walking until they reach the Choosing Ceremony area.

they stop on the crowd of people. Seong-Jin puts on his cloak to hide his wings as he folds them and pushes them to his back. The soft feahters tickle the back of his neck. He puts his hood up and nudges his way to the front of the croud. They look up to a balcony. The lady with the bowl's still there. She looks a little crazy and just talking about random things. Seong-Jin turns to Kai with a cocerned look on his face.
"do you think one of us will get chosen?"

"I mean the chances are pretty low, but maybe," he states, pretty sure of himself.

He looks at the lady, then the crowd, there were families crying, holding their children. He looks back at Kai obviously worried. (looks lowkey adorable with his white hair hanging down covering his forehead. His bright blue eyes darting from person to person and every now and then to Kai.
The winds crisp blowing his hood off. His hair blowing in the wind. The cold air hurts his nose to breathe, the leaves rustling around on the ground. He looks down and steps on a leave.
aw it didn't make the crunch sound.
He looks up at the sky to see a bird with something in its claws. It lands on a roof of a house nearby and start ripping it apart.
death has always made me sad…… I hope I don't get chosen…..

"what'll you do if you get chosen? Are you nervous?"

(he asks a lot of questions when he's nervous.)

Ash stood up, noticing a crowd forming. "What the hell am I supposed to do?" She muttered, walking closer to the center of the crowd. What if I get chosen, or what if - No. She had to get out of her own head. There was practically no chance of her getting chosen, she had nothing to worry about.

"I don't know I've never really thought of that. Maybe I will be. I don't know…umm" He says, as he starts to get nervous and do that thing were his hands shake.

His anxiety starts kicking in and his hands won't stop shaking, so he pulls his sleeves over his hands to cover them.

Seong-Jin notices his hand shaking. He reaches out and grabs it and looks at him.
dangit i feel bad for making him anxious
"Is it alright if i do this? I'm a little anxious"
Seong-Jin lets out a nervous smile

"It's cool. It's actually helping." He states with a nervous chuckle.

knew it would work
"oh okay, nice!"
He squeezes eyes shut, tapping his foot and moving his wing a little bit. He looks up at a tall tree, his face lights up,
then he looks at Kai.
"OH, you wanna do something fun?"

"Sure!! What?" He asks with a smile.

"okay so do you see that huge tree over there?"
He points to a ginormous tree about 200 feet away
"wanna climb it?"

He looks at the tree about 200 feet away.

"Sounds fun!! Let's go!!" He answers with a smile,

"nice!" He starts running towards the tree, when they get there he stops.
"can you climb trees?"
He laughs nervously, the wind blowing through his hair and ruffles the feathers in his wings.

"Of course I can," he answers as he starts climbing the tree with ease.

"oh okay!"
He chuckles. He looks up at Kai whos surprisingly good at it.
"Here i come!"
He spreads his huge wings and shoots up on once of the branches. He looks at Kai and every time Kai reaches him he hops to a higher branch, until they got up to the top. Seong-Jin just looks over everything and smiles. He loves letting the wind brush through his hair and wings. Its so refreshing. He can still here the lady talking. He wonders what shes saying but at the same time he doesn't care. He's going to enjoy this moment while it lasted.
" hey Malakai, i wanna show you something."
He stands up and jumps up to another far away branch to reveal a hammock and a little platform made out of wooden planks.
"i come here every now and then…. i built this!"
He says to Kai as He puts his arms on his hips and puffed out his chest a little, spead his winds a little and highered his chin. Obviously proud of him self.

"Wow, that is so cool!!" he answers, in an enthusiastic tone.

"was that sarcasm?"
He says with a smirk. He sits one of the branches allowing Kai to lay on the hammock. He swings his feet like a little kid.
"wouldya just look at this view!"

"Wow!! It's breathtaking!!" He states in awe.

(I don't know what to do boobedyboop doop de doop hmhmhm)

Well Seong-Jins just making friends while im stalling, waiting for Pyro to get back.

"i know right!"
He lays down on the platform.
'oh do you wanna apple?"
He gets up and goes to a box filled with apples and steps over to Kai
"ah sorry you probably don't want it… its the only food i have."
He lets out a nervous laugh that turns into a sigh

"Actually I love apples, so that's fine with me." He answers, and, happily, takes an apple.

Then he begins to take a bite out of it.

"oh nice!" He turns to face the scenery. There's a big mountain on the other side of the little city with snow on the tip. He feels like he has the energy to fly there and back a thousand times. Hes glad he can fly. With him being homeless and all, it would be pretty difficult to get around. Usually if hes not feeling up to stealing food he'd just flirt with some of the more "well off" ladies around town and they would usually give him something.

Royce came to a stop near the square and looked around. He gave everyone who looked at him a pleasant grin. He was also wearing earphones, so… he didn’t hear a single word anyone said.
He spotted the lady who called him Pathetic in the crowd but just smiled on his own. He got out his writing notebook and wrote something on it. He voicelessly chuckled as he did.

Ara pretended not to notice him as the man from the humans walked to the stage. “Welcome,” he said in a booming voice, “to the 100th annual Elemental Games!”

The man had guards with guns all around them. Ara stared enviously at the guns. They weren’t allowed weapons like that in the District, and she wanted one.
