I was thinking something along the lines of throwing our characters into like a pride party/celebration/parade/whatever and just seeing what happens. chaos and gay are about the most structure I have so far lmao

Denzel had never seen so much color in his life. He was often used to nothing but monochrome colors, but at his friends’ insistence he had done his best to dial down the color-sapping effects of his aura to the point where the multiple rainbow paints and clothes he had on—namely a rainbow choker, multicolored temporary dye in his hair, and a rainbow belt holding up his jeans. He looked just a little disheveled, but he didn’t mind at this point, his white button-down only half tucked in and partly unbuttoned at the top, his usually entirely short black hair swept messily in front of his right eye. Hell, he had even worn some colorful eyeliner for once, opting for blue instead of black to go with his mostly blue and red-dyed hair. People were running around laughing and smoking and drinking, and for once, he couldn’t help but enjoy himself

Declan kept his head up as he weaved through the colorful crowd. He was proud of being gay, but he didn't usually go to any kind of loud and expansive celebrations. He'd just turned 18, so this time would be an exception. He scratched his cheek, careful to avoid the rainbow stick-on tattoo and the blue eyeshadow that offset one grey eye.

Mina cheered along with a fun group of strangers that she had bumped into while getting coffee. She couldn't help herself, the energy of the crowd was too fun, too happy, to resist. From her rainbow dyed space buns, to her rainbow bandeau, to her fire truck red doc martens, she was on cloud nine. Gayer than gay. She took a sip of her latte and cheered again. It felt great to be out and about spreading acceptance and love.

Denzel started trying to weave his way through the crowd, grinning as he went. Though after a moment, he squeaked when he bumped into someone holding a latte, and he quickly began apologizing. “Sorry, sorry! You didn’t spill your drink, did you?” he asked, dark eyes wide with concern. He usually wasn’t nearly this laid back or apologetic, but the multiple facets of his personality were taking a more outgoing approach at the moment

Mina made a ridiculous 'oof' sound as someone bumped her from behind. Somehow her brain thought that saving her latte was more important than saving her own body, so miraculously, despite landing on the ground, her latte was in perfect condition. She laughed at the hilarity of the moment. "I'm fine! No worries here, my guy." She wiggled the full cup at the guy looking down at her. "Latte is safe and sound. All is well in the universe."
