"I'm so nervous for her," Georgiana said anxiously, "I feel like I should be there with her." Although she was only Savannah's servant, she felt protective of her, and felt uncomfortable not being allowed to help her in any way.

Damian bowed. "Hello Princess." He wasn't sure how to act, since he hadn't been in Prince mode for a while. "This is a nice castle you have. Really Damian, now you just sound jealous. He smiled awkwardly and turned his head away. She looked even more beautiful tonight, but that still didn't mean he wanted to marry her. He just knows a pretty girl when he sees one.

@Fraust

“Thank you… I suppose we should dance?” Savannah held out her hand. “I apologize for the situation, by the way. I’m sure you aren’t happy to be forced to marry, but I do hope we can learn to get along. For the good of our kingdoms.” She smiled softly, taking Damian’s hand in her own.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"To our kingdoms uniting." Damian said, with genuine feelings. Although deep down he knew this is not what either of them wanted. But, being told how to live and what yo do came with being royalty. He set his other hand on her hip and began to lead her around the dance floor. Damian was glad he wasn't rusty on his dancing, this would have been an embarrassment if he didn't remember. "If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" She seemed really young, especially to get married even more so to take over a kingdom.

@Fraust

“I’m sixteen… I do wish my parents wouldn’t have me rule so early, but it is my duty to do as they say.” Savannah put her hands in the proper position and danced slowly with Damian. “I’m Savannah, by the way. I’m sure you already know that, but I’m not sure I know your name?”

Lillian clapped quietly to herself and smiled as Savannah and Prince Damian spoke. Caspian hadn't been too pleased with her actions; it was a bit informal, her going to the prince instead of waiting for him to approach the pedestal, but no one else seemed to mind. He had a few guards go over to keep the photographers and crowd back, just in case, as Damian and Savannah danced.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I see. I'm older than you. My name is Damian." He smiled and spun her. She danced very well, but that was to be expected. She was the Princess. Looking up he saw the Queen looking right at them, very intensely. The King was as well, but Damian couldn't read him, in all honesty the king kind of scares him.

@Simon-Says

Georgiana groaned and forced herself to look at the floor. "How… how was your day?" She asked, attempting to distract herself.

@Fraust

Savannah smiled a bit and glanced over to where Damian was looking. “It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Don’t worry about father too much, by the way. He might sort of ask you some questions later to get to know you better, but he’s the one who wanted this marriage to happen in the first place. It’s strange to think about, isn’t it? We’re just meeting now and we’re to be married in just a weeks’ time.”

"She's doing good." Caspian spoke quietly to his wife, watching the pair on the floor. Lillian made a quite noise, as if she were offended on Savannah's behalf. "Did you expect any less?" Caspian raised his brow and looked at her from the corner of his eye, and Lillian gently slapped his arm. He chuckled quietly, the butlers and maids near their thrones smiling subtly at their antics. "I'm kidding, Lilly, of course not." He locked eyes with the prince for a moment, silently willing the young man to not mess up with his daughter.

"Yeah," He laughed, "It is strange to think about." When his parents heard about a large kingdom wanting to buy food land in trade of protection, they were thrilled. But then both kingdoms decided that the only way to truly become one is marriage. Although it was strange they didn't send his younger brother, since he was closer in age to the Princess. "I hope all goes well."

@Simon-Says

(I might not be able to respond for a bit, apologies in advance!)
"Oh. My. Stars." Georgiana said, emphasizing each word. "I'm supposed to be professional, and you're making it difficult."

@Fraust

“Mhmm…” Savannah swayed a bit with the music. “How old are you, by the way? I mean, it isn’t too important, but I am curious.” She was vaguely aware that everyone was watching them at this point, but she put it out of her mind.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

She has a beautiful voice, Marcus thought. He didn't say it out loud, of course, for Georgiana had asked him not to. Instead, he hummed the bass section. It vibrated his chest softly.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Twenty." He was sure she was going to demand the engagement been annulled. Who would want to marry someone that much older than themselves. Although it wasn't uncommon in this day and age. "Sorry, I tried telling my parents to send my brother, but they insisted I go. It probably has to do with me having more experience in leading a kingdom." The song ended and he let go of Savannah almost immediately.

@Simon-Says

"Ugh, I feel useless," Georgiana complained. "Maybe I should go help in the kitchens. Or I could serve food. Are we allowed to go outside?"

@Fraust

“No, it’s alright.” Savannah smiled reassuringly. “You’re the heir; the firstborn. Why shouldn’t they send you? Four years isn’t all that much, anyways.” (My sister’s husband is actually five years older oof) “I believe the wedding is next weekend. I do wish we had a bit more time to prepare and get to know each other better, but it is what it is, I suppose.”

The guards moved away from the crowd as the next song started up, and people began to take up the floor again, still keeping distance from the prince and princess. "Do you think they're okay?" Lillian asked her husband, who took her hand in his and kissed the back of it. "They'll be fine."
Lillian smiled, but still… "What if…Caspian, what if moved the wedding back a few days?"
Caspian's head turned sharply to look at her. "What?" He said rather sharply, and the nearest maid flinched. "Postpone the wedding? Lillian-"
"I know, I know, but just hear me out? Look at them. Look at our daughter, our little baby girl. She is 16, and in just a few days, she's going to be married a man whom she barely knows. You remember how she reacted to the news of having to marry so soon, don't you? Now, I know and respect the tradition, but can't we give them just a little more time to get to know each other? To get…used to each other?"
Caspian released her hand and rubbed his head as he looking down at the young royals. He was the king, but even a king shouldn't mess with tradition. Still…everything was different when it was your own daughter. "I…I will think about it. It is not my place, and I will have to get the opinion of the other kingdom, but…I'll think about it."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"It's pretty stuffy in here. Would you like to go outside?" He held his hand and smiled. He made sure not to touch her without her consent. "Its a nice night." His smiled turned to a sly grin. "We could get away and gor one night not act like royals, but a normal girl and a normal guy, getting to know each other. What do you say?"
