He nodded and glanced around "yes they are. You see him differently than the others do, as shown by the different versions of him." He explained pointing to the figures walking through the woods
"How do other people see him?" She kept walking, spinning occasionally as she looked around at all her thoughts.
The wolf lost his grin and sighed "not as well as you. They see him as dark and manipulative. Bringer of death and seducer of the kill."
The thoughts around her darkened slightly as she took in the words, before they cleared back up. "Oh. That's… Sad." They kept following the path, and started to leave the forest behind. The projections of her thoughts began to fade.
He nodded "it is." He stopped at the treeline, letting her go towards the path "let me know if you wish to talk again. Just come here and I'll find you."
She nodded, hesitating slightly before she kept walking. Halfway down the path, she bounced and turned around, waving at the wolf and squinting to see him even as she walked backwards down the path.
The wolf bowed to her before turning and bounding away into the forest. The path had bed her back to the crystal tree garden Hades had showed her before
I had better not be lost. Perrie thought, swinging around in a circle to look around. She sighed, placing her hands on her hips and shifting her weight to one foot. She lifted one hand to rub it through her hair, looking down the path she thought she'd come up originally.
The crystalized deer appeared over the hill and walked over to her, its fragil looking legs easily maneuvering the terrain with grace. It tilted its head in question anf nudged Perrie’s hand
She laughed, a clear sound that rang out over the hill. She reached out, rubbing it behind the surprisingly warm ears. She ran her hands up and down the side of its neck. "I don't suppose you know the way home? Or where home is for me?"
The nuzzled her hand in content and nodded "home is not here for you my dear. Not yet anyways." She said gently with a motherly tone "but I can get you back to his."
She gave a tiny gasp, grinning at the deer. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you could talk." My home isn't here yet? She silently questioned the statement, before nodding and accepting the offer of help to get back to his home.
"quite alright. Most of us can. We just choose not to." She turned and headed back up the hill, turning every so often to make sure Perrie was following
She followed closely, still taking in the scenery. "That's amazing."
She nodded "like it?" She asked glancing back at her
Perrie's smile widened slightly. "Yes. I love the animals on the surface, but I haven't met many who can talk. It's very different down here."
The deer nodded "different but all together familiar." She led her down a crastaline path made of turquoise and rubies into a small Glade where a small waterfall fell into a ring of saffire trees
Perrie followed willingly, still taking in the beauty here. She walked slowly, keeping up with the deer but doing her best not to miss anything.
She bend down and drank water from the Glade before settling down "he's find of you,"
She turned to raise her eyebrow slightly. "Really? I mean, that's… interesting." She ran her fingers through the water, swirling it and rippling it away from her.
"it is. He hasn't been interested in anyone. Except you, recently." She glanced around as crystal birds and woodland creatures ventured closer.
"I take it he doesn't get a lot of visitors down here?" She lifted her hand out of the water, examining the droplets before she wiped them off on the hem of her dress.
She shook her graceful head "No. Except for the dying that comes here. No not many living visit here." She glanced around, flicking her ears to catch small noises
Perrie nodded, her mood dimming slightly. "Well then.. I suppose I should find my way out. I don't belong here."
"like I've said before. He has an interest in you. You're the only one who comes back time and time again to come see him." She noted
Perrie bit her lip, now unsure of herself. She started walking once again, following the path that lead down out of the crystalline place and back to the main portion of the realm of the dead. She walked slowly, not wanting to venture away from this place.
The deer stood and followed "if you must leave, may hI sow you.one more thing?" She asked, trailing behind perrie
She paused, turning back. "Of course. What is it?" She shifted her weight slightly.
The deer jerked her head to a glass building like structure in the distance. It was covered in glass flowers and vines"There." She made her way fowards, stepping lightly
Perrie twirled around on her heel to follow the deer, tilting her head and trying to get a better view into the flower covered building. An unconscious smile hung on her face as she marveled at all the things she'd never seen down here.
