(Spiders…. Shivers)
(Don’t worry, this guy’s nice)
"Tolkalee," he gave his signature bow as well. "Now, you wanted to tell us something?"
(I totally don't have arachnophobia… he he…)
Chrysus nodded. “You’ve both heard of a concept known as the Paladin’s Mission, correct?”
Tolkalee nodded curtly. "I've heard of it."
"Yeah, why?" Hinata wasn't sure where this was going.
Chrysus sighed slightly. “Well, two of the people with you right now have a Paladin’s Mission of killing a certain amount Living Visitors and you’re both on their list. Their team consists of Desmond, Sam, Oliver and Zac.” he stated.
"Um… I don't think I'm in any trouble. If anything, I'll stick around to see if they can actually do it," Hinata said.
Chrysus shrugged. “Though you know that just by taking your soul from your body counts as you dying right?” He wanted to confirm. “Because…you know, Zac can do that if he really wants to”
"Yes, and then it would get sucked right back in. Trust me, its happened many times before. It gets annoying." Hinata shrugged.
"Being curse to never die by your bosses really sucks."
"Wait," Tolk reached back and pulled a notebook from his satchel. The front page had hundreds of little tally marks on it. He added four, then he examined the page for a moment. "Uh…. Tell them to get in line," he said looking up at Chrysus.
Chrysus giggled slight at what she said. “Well Lucky you…” as he said that, a raccoon sized golden and black spider crawled up from his back and stood on his shoulder.
He raised a brow at what Tolkalee said. “Great…”
"Holy crap dude, how many people want to kill you?" Hinata asked.
(NNNNNN)
(Someone has high levels of Arachnophobia I see…)
"A few," Tolkalee put the notebook back. "That was just my list of the ones that want to. It wasn't my list of the ones who've failed."
"Wow dude, even my list isn't that long."
"Well when you live the first forty years of your life as the bad guy, people don't tend to like you," Tolkalee said casually.
The metallic spider on Chrysus’ shoulder jumped onto Hinata’s shoulder.
"True. Whenever I have to twist a dimensions fate to Chaos, let's just say I make a lot of enemies," Hinata said, understanding what Tolkalee meant. She turned to Chrysus.
"So, why did you tell us about the Paladin's Mission, again?"
(EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK)
(I was gonna make Chrysus a background character, but now I’ve got a reason to make him appear more often XD)
(this is gonna give me nightmares.)
(You are not nice)
(eh, it's better than having a bedroom in the spider-infested basement. Oh wait…)
Chrysus picked up the metallic spider with his right. “Well, the main reason being I want you both to be aware that now, some of the Knights won’t be as nice as when you first met them” the spider crawled up his sleeve and stood on his shoulder.
(I was just kidding, Chrysus doesn’t have relationships with any of the main characters. So from a story standpoint, it’s not necessary to have him appear often)
“Wait here” Edge told Seth as he went inside a locked room and to his workshop.
Hinata nodded.
"Thank you for the heads up."
