Kye walked into the room. He looked around then looked back at Hunter. "Is there anything you don't want me touching?" He asked.
Kye walked into the room. He looked around then looked back at Hunter. "Is there anything you don't want me touching?" He asked.
Hunter shook her head. "Not in this room. But there is a small trunk that I don't want anyone to touch. Ever." She shook her head, her hood moving with it. "If you need anything, I'll be up on the roof."
Kye nodded and watched her go. As soon as she was out of sight, he clenched his fist and threw a haymaker at the air. He never had the chance to do anything. Everytime things began settling down something would happen and he'd get thrown right back into the chaos.
Hunter clambered out a window and onto the roof, climbing the branches to the highest one, where she could see beyond the horizon. She stared sadly at a large mountain range, shaped like a sleeping dragon.
(Should I make this an O/O rp, since no one else has joined?)
(I don't know, you could.)
(Do you think I should?)
(You might hate me for this, but I have no preference. I guess, if no one else is going to join you probably should, but otherwise I don't really care.)
(I think that @Devil-Town wanted to join, but they've not yet. I might just do it 'cause we're already three pages in and it's just the two of us.)
(Whatever works for you.)
Kye sat down on the bed and placed his elbows on his knees, and stared at the ground. He sighed deeply, with his head down, and his white hair falling into his face. "Here we go again."
Hunter watched the moon. As she did, she thought about home. She could get back to her home, easily, but she couldn't leave Kye here. She had been called here for a reason, and she had to help him, apparently.
Kye walked around his room, for a bit, laid down trying to get some sleep, read his book "The Wild Warriors," and gave up. He opened the window in the room, and climbed out. Climbing to the roof with ease, and finding Hunter looking away from him at the distant mountains. Not wanting to startle her, he quietly cleared his throat to notify her of his presence.
Hunter glanced over at him. "Hey," she said.
"Hi," he walked over quietly and sat down, a good two feet from her as to not make her feel uncomfortable. He looked up at the sky. "I've never seen these constellations before," he commented quietly.
Hunter sent him a humorless smile. "Well, you've never been to this place, have you?"
"No, but I have been to earth several times, didn't you say that this was earth?" Kye looked at her.
Hunter shook her head. "No, this is Ariema. It's supposed to be the Quest Planet or some bullshit like that."
Kye nodded in understanding. "That makes more sense," he said. "I like it out here though. At the moment, anyway. It has a peaceful sense to it."
"It does," Hunter admitted. She leaned against the tree, closing her eyes and taking in a gulp of cool, fresh air. The air here was certainly better, she had to admit.
"I noticed you looking at the mountains, have you ever been to them?" Kye asked shyly, trying not to sound like a creep.
Hunter shrugged. "I have, but that's a story for another time." She turned to look at him, the moon reflecting in her blue eyes. "So, where are you from?"
"Htrae," he searched the stars. "We must be a long way from it, normally even when most of the constellations are different I can pick out where it is."
"Is it like Earth?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.
He smiled at her, his dark purple eyes glinting. "Say earth backwards."
She grinned. "Clever. I mean, what's the technology like?"
"Well," he pulled out his dagger and showed it to her. It had silver edges, a gold stripe down the middle, and a red ribbon wrapped around the handle. "This is what the weaponry looks like, just there are also bows, and swords and other things. We're more like the mid evil time period of earth."
"Huh," she said. "That's kind of the way things are here, too." She sent him a small grin. "But the air is cleaner."
"Well, I usually spend my time down in the caves beneath a huge ancient forest," Kye explained, he looked back at the sky, a sort of sadness in his voice. "The air is pretty clean down there."
Hunter lay a hand on his arm for a brief second. "I get it. Maybe I can show you to a place like that while you're here."
Kye glanced down at her hand. "You don't have to, I was actually headed to the surface when I ended up here. I need a bit of surface time," there seemed to be a sad aura around Kye, yet he was still smiling. As if nothing was actually wrong.
