So my magic system is a bit complicated and I'm not sure whether if it's easily understandable or not so it works like this:
Anyone can use magic as long as they have a basic knowledge of it, but they don't have to memorize any specific name or have to use items, etc. So the magic can be labeled anything you want, and if the name holds a strong sentimental value to you, the stronger the spell will work.
Note: There are some spells with pre-chosen names, but it is typically only reserved for specific spells that only specific people can use.
