I don't what to name the planet which the alien protagonist comes from, does anyone have any suggestions? It has nothing to do with Earth, so I'd rather it didn't have a name that's just a word in another language. But I have no idea where to start with this
How do you want it to sound - harsh? soft and flowing? Just sort of weird to an english speaker? You can add all sorts of things to a name for a planet. For a harsher sound, use hard sounds like g, the german ch, k, h, etc. For a softer one, use lots of vowels and consonants like l, s, or f. A weird one would probably use consonant clusters English doesn't have - vl, wd, etc.. Hope this helps a little!
Well rather than generating the human interpretation of what an alien planet would sound like, why don't you tell us a bit about their culture?
At what point in their history did they name their planet? How do they classify other planets, moons, stars, etc?
