Assuming in your universe that your planet has a star to revolve around, you can probably go by the distance from your planet to its star. The farther away, the longer the full rotation/year. Days would probably be based on the tilt of your planet’s axis. Hope this helps!

This is what I am doing. You need to spend time reading up on planetary sciences but its worth it to understand the concept of time. I highly suggest going to the local library and looking for this topic. Good luck!
