"I was being completely serious" he shrugged, closing the door before getting in the drivers side. He started the car and smiled at Bailey, "where to?"

"123 Sesame Street," Bailey told him. He could tell people were staring at him probably wondering why is that nerd in a car with the cool popular Carter or who does this guy think he is or something like that.

Carter nodded, putting the car in gear and pulling out of the school and driving towards Bailey's house, not looking up where to go. "not many people ride in my car," he said, noting the people staring. "no one ever asks, I mean they ask to go for a drive, but I am not wasting my cash on gas to go joyriding with people I don't like you know?" he shrugged, shifting to a higher gear as he sped up.

"Yea I guess that makes sense," he looked at Bailey. "You umm know where your going right?"

"I spend most of my free time driving around, I know where the street is, and I am sure you can point out which house it is" he shrugged.

"It's actually an apartment," Bailey chuckled, "I live there with my dad and my two younger sisters,"

"apartment, house, same concept" he shrugged, turning onto the road and slowing down.

As they slowly drove by they saw a small white apartment building, "Right there, that's my house,"

Carter nodded, pulling over to the side of the road in front of the building. "here you are" he smiled, turning off the car out of habit.

Bailey saw that he turned the car off and panicked, "Alright well um thanks thank you uhh se ya tomarrow," he stuttered and got out of the car and walk into his apartment face bright red.

"uh ok- bye." he chuckled watching Bailey leave before starting his car again.

As Bailey walked into his apartment one of his younger sister came and asked, "Why is your face red?" Bailey's face got even more red and he responded, "just hot so I am going to take a shower now," he then left the room and face planted on his bed.

Carter watched Bailey enter his apartment before sighing to himself and driving away.
