(So. Do you have particular alien species you want in this?)
(nah not really, but i'll join 'em >:)
( XD ok then. I'll get a scenario up. Do you want to do character templates, or just wing it?)
(lets wing it. i'll just put all my asshole\troll energy into this dude. )
Humanity had largely managed to overcome their propensity for large scale war. The threat of WWIII becoming a massive nuclear war had stopped the world powers from pulling the trigger on it.
It hadn't done them any good when the Aliens came.
Apparently, humanity had talents and uses that the rest of the universe wanted.
The Corti, a small race of grey skinned, big-headed geniuses, wanted humanity for their athleticism and physical adaptability. They came in nearly invisible ships, with energy weapons that warped DNA and changed the environment.
The Gao, a race of furry, muscular racoon-bears, wanted humanity for companionship. True, humans would be kinda like pets to them, but they thought it was a good deal. They couldn't undestand why humanity said no. They came, not with energy weapons, but with nukes and infantry. The Gaoian foot soldiers were all claws, teeth, and muscles, and their nukes turned the world into what everyone had feared from WWIII.
The Charad-ati, a race of tentacle-crawling, shapeshifting Skin-changers wanted humanity as sextoys. Those inital negotions had gone well, until the first volunteers realized that Skin-changers also eat their mates. Alive. They came with kinetic bombardment, conventional weapons with bullets and projectiles, and of course, their shapeshifting abilities.
These 3 races fought each other, and fought humanity, until there wasn't much left of what had once been Earth. There were pockets of people all over the world, but there soon was another group to worry about.
The Mutts were formerly humans. They'd been mutated by nuclear war, or Corti energy weapons. Most had lost their minds pretty quickly, resulting in mindless monsters. A few had retained their minds, but lost their humanity, resulting in literal supervillains.
Surviving in this world was no walk in the park.
(i can literally imagine them just having >:3 be their resting face)
(works for me. i should at least ask if you want to be human?)
(i can literally imagine them just having >:3 be their resting face)
(oh absolutely XD )
(yeah im a human. also just kinda chillin' with the gao)
( XD nice. Guess I'll be the Gao)
The Gaoian ships were often diamond shaped. Wide and flat across the top, thin and pointed on the bottom. The middle layer was the one they had designated for their human companions.
It was here that Brother Reki kept his human. He tried to keep him fed, make sure he let him out of his kennel at least twice a day, keep the curious cubs from eating him.
Conna couldn't care less about their 'pride' or 'dignity' like all the other humans, after all they were the Geo's favorite because of that. living freely outside wasn't that big of a deal either, after all they weren't about to be caught and worked to death… in any way, or be killed by mutts. the only problem is no matter how much they talk to the others they still won't see the reason. im way hungry. but should i steal some food, or sucker someone into giving it to me? oh the troubles of life. they thought but at that moment one of the Gao walked in, huh i can never remember which of these guys is which
(whoops i already started writing lol)
(no problem XD )
Brother Reki had to smile at Conna's antics. The little human had such a refreshing attitude, as if he'd been made to be a pet. Reki liked the reactions Conna would give when let out of his kennel. The other Gaoians would chitter loudly as he strutted around like he owned the place. It was always an interesting dynamic.
Reki held out a piece of fruit, sliding it through the bars of the kennel. "Hungry?"
(do they speak the same language?)
(assume the Gao have learned English. Unless you think it would be really funny to have them not speak the same language at all XD )
(actually lets do that it'll be hilarious lol)
(oh boy. well. He still asked "hungry?" just now, its random growling/chittering to Conna's ears XD )
"well well well, i wouldn't mind taking that off your hands." they said snatching from his hands, and then deciding to save it for later "im soooooooo bored, why don't you just let me out for just a little bit." he says, giving the Gao the best puppy dog eyes they could and reaching through the bars to gain as much sympathy as possible.
(what's the size comparison?)
(Short Gaoians stand around 6 feet tall. a big, strong male would stand easily 7'6" and weigh like, 600lbs)
(i should mention, the Gao and Corti are based on the Philip Johnson books version's of those aliens. Some liberties taken. The third one is mine XD )
Brother Reki chittered as the small male grabbed the fruit, but didn't eat it. "So weird, little humans." The human put his paws through the bars, reaching, and Reki handed him another piece of fruit. "I don't know why you wanted more, you didn't eat the first one."
