(Cool!)

Petyr was drunk before coming to the party. Alcohol couldn’t get him that high anymore, given his vampirism. But, he could get a secondhand high through someone already wasted by drinking just a small amount of their blood and absorbing a bit of their intoxicated essence. He didn’t know how this worked, but he had managed to find out on the streets a drunken idiot walking home early from the party he was going to, so Petyr decided not to question vampire logic.

When he arrived, he was dressed to the nines in a silken, off the shoulder robe and looking like the deity he probably was. It was Harvest season, which meant that the living and mortal were having Harvest celebrations, even in this world of advance people still had petty superstitions about what to celebrate and how. Hence, a costume party to ward off demons, not that it would affect Petyr seeing as he was far from demonic. He was worse.

He strolled through the door, looking around and immediately deciding to pop some pills. Vampire logic dictated that drugs still worked, and this applied to anything from antidepressants to illicit substances. Again, Petyr reaped the benefits without question. When he was suitably wasted, he sought out trouble. There, in the corner, was a pretty boy of likely around his age, withdrawn into their phone and not paying attention to Petyr or anyone else around him.

(Ezra is the character mentioned in the last paragraph)

Ezra was going to kill them. Of course figuratively, there was not way Ezra could kill and get away with it but once Jessie texted back he would verbaly kill him. How could he leave a party he was invited to? Worse how could he leave the exact person that didn't want to go!
Ezra had nestled himself into what he assumed was a safe corner of the house and refused to make small talk with anyone. He had priorities back that he could have been working on like helping his little sister Nia with homework or catching up on some much needed rest. Instead he had been forcefully invited to a party he never wanted to attend in the first place. Even worse, it had been a Halloween party. Not to say he didn't enjoy Halloween, he really did, but was it necessary for him to have been shoved into a the thinnest cat costume ever? It wasn't that bad, a sheet crop top with a furry collar and some tight leggings Jessie had let him borrow but honestly it wasn't Ezra's style at all. What had been wrong with the cat onesie he had offered to put on instead. It had only been later that Ezra realized the onesie wasn't sexy enough for the party. Thankfully Jessie had let him barrow his jacket. He glared up from his phone screen, searching the room for Jessie, any sign that he was back. No such thing. More unfortunate than not seeing his friend was catching the gaze of a man. Ezra watched for few moments, slightly enthralled by him, his movement, the way he demanded the attention of the room with simply a glance. Not to mention his appearance, beautifully breathtaking even if he was playing the role of some king today. It was only when Ezra realized the beauty was walking towards that he quickly flicked his gaze down, typing in a slight panic to Jessie, "please come pick me up, I think I'm in trouble."

Petyr made his way towards the stranger, dressed as a sexy catboy and not looking very happy about it. When he arrived to his destination, he promptly collapsed on the person. “H’lo, youuuuu…. Kitty?” Petyr wasn’t stable at the moment, literally or metaphorically, he couldn’t stand at this point and was drunken and dumb as a dunce. But his weight was enough to pin them both down to the sofa behind them, and that was all the leverage he needed to snuggle up inside the handsome fellow’s chest. “Think I’m gonna stay here a bit, juuuuust a bit.”

Nobody stared, most of the people at this party were as wasted as Petyr and landing on the more savory of the invitees here was blind luck. Anything could happen to a lovely specimen like Petyr, and that would not be particularly fun for either party involved. Petyr would probably take the chance to feed, and the poor sod that wanted to take advantage of him would likely find himself writhing on the floor not knowing what hit him. Petyr hated that aspect of being a vampire, but it was what it was.

Ezra had mere seconds to throw his phone aside before the stranger promptly decided that he was an appropriate mattress. "H-hi, there." Ezra greeted awkwardly, firmly holding the man's elbow so he wouldn't fall when he straightened up. At least that was Ezra's intention, clearly the beautiful stranger had other ideas. Instead of regaining his balance like Ez logically assumed would happen, the man actually curled up in his lap. Ezra tried to maneuver the stranger over so they could both be comfortable but the deadweight was heavier than Ezra expected.
With a soft sigh, Ezra managed to move just enough to hold the stranger's waist, not wanting him to accidentally fall in his drunken, and what Ezra also guessed drugged state of confusion. He draped the side of his jacket over the figure, noticing them shivering slightly, either from the effects of the drugs and alcohol or the chill from the air-conditioning.
"So what's a beautiful creature like you doing in a place like this?" He asked, waving over someone who had a tray of drinks. If he was going to be dragged against his will to a party, be used as a mattress by a gorgeous stranger and have to make small talk, Ezra would need a drink. Before the person left, Ezra nodded to the stranger and asked if they or anyone else knew them. They shook their head, apparently the stranger in his lap was a regular but no one really knew much about them. Ezra glanced down at he stranger and gently brushed aside his golden hair to better get a look at his features. "Pretty and mysterious, now I truly am intrigued." he mused

“Who am I? Not like it’s any of yer business, but I’m th’ man whose going to make your night…” Petyr trailed a hand to the man’s hip, “worthwhile.” he giggled, flipping over and moving to curl up beside the man. He could be sober, if he wanted to, but Petyr didn’t really know if he did. It was better to remain wasted than to acknowledge that this was the first time he’d had skin to skin contact in months. “Wanna see something cool?” he said, a plan forming in his mind. What if he took this man on as a familiar? It made sense, he was very pretty and so was Petyr, and the human was nice and warm and didn’t seem to mind how unnaturally cold Petyr was even with his flushed skin.

@Fenrir

Ezra snorted a laugh, "you so happen to be laying ontop of me. I'd consider that my business." He shivered as the stranger's hand traveled down his side to his waist, a flustered breath escaping him before he gently settled his on top. "Worthwhile, huh? Are you trying to seduce me, dear?" He cooed teasingly, watching as the other nestled against his side. "Usually when someone starts off a sentence like that in the state that you're in, its never means something cool." Ezra took off his jacket against his desire to remain covered and draped it over his companion's shoulder. "But I doubt I'll be heading home anytime soon so sure, why not?" Ezra rested his head in his hand and watched expectantly. He promised himself if anything got too weird, he'd make a run for it. He knew where the entrance was and how to get to the nearest bus stop. Reason why he didn't leave now was that he really didn't want to go out in a skimpy little catboy costume, so he stayed. "I'm Ezra by the way."

“Petyr’s th’ name. C’mon, drag me to somewhere private. Maybe the bathroom? I think ‘m gonna vomit and I don’t wanna do it on you.” Petyr said, chuckling a little then covering his mouth to avoid spilling bile all over the man’s front.

(Sorry it’s short, I forgot what I’d wanted to post next lol.)

@Fenrir

(it's all good! No worries at all!)

Ezra's eyes widened before he stood with an arm around Petyr's waist. "I'd truly rather not have that happen. This sort of all I'm wearing, no backup." Ezra looked around for the bathroom before helping Petyr to slowly shuffle towards the hallway Ezra assumed where said bathroom was. He less than gently banged on the door while trying his best not to jostle Petyre around too much. "Sorry to interrupt but we sort of have an emergency." He called, nodding apologetically as two women came out, thankfully they were laughing and distracted by each other to notice Ezra gently pull Petyr in and close the door.
He slowly set Petyr on the ground by the toilet and grabbed what he prayed was a clean towel to soak under cold water. He kneeled beside the other and slowly started dabbing at Petyr's flushed face. "Will you be okay if I leave to find you some water?" He asked softly, glad to be away from the loud party going on outside.
