I'm weird about hugs… like I love hugs from my mom and sister and specific friends, but nobody else

I love hugging them but with anyone else I'm like ehhh

I'm awkward with hugging my extended family and the friends I'm not close to, but with my close friends and my family members I'll practically crawl into their laps for cuddles just at random times. I'm pretty sure I weirded out my art teacher when I spent basically an entire art class sitting in my friend's lap. (I also probably weirded her out when I chased the aforementioned friend around the classroom with pastels, but that's another thing entirely).

Lol I constantly want hugs from my close friends (which I don't have very many of unfortunately) and my siblings, but I'm always too nervous to ask for it and even if I do and they say yes I get too nervous to initiate hugs
