absolutely not a kink; age regression is when someone (specifically someone with anxiety, depression, trauma, etc.) mentally reverts back to the age of a child to cope and relieve stress.

It can be connected to DID and OSDD but systems can have age regressors (like our host, Zane, who goes from teen years to 7-8) and little alters who don't change age

So you have all your memories and know whats going on, you just change your mental age to help deal with stresses the way a kid in that age range would?

It's really hard for me to find a CG because of the country I live in and life is being very mean to me rn… my little age is 2-6 more or less. When regressed I like watching Friends, Adventure time, SpongeBob SquarePants, listen to music, draw, play, nap… I cry a lot in this headspace and I struggle taking care of myself. When regressed my brain is very mean. I would love to find people to be friend with, Littles or CG since the only person's in that community who I talked with were VERY toxic and weird.
