nice. i'm pretty sure i've seen you around on different forums, but nice to meet you (again)!

hey littles of notebook! i'm trying to find a way to tell my family about my regression, but they haven't had a great first impression of it. i have selective mutism (meaning i'm effectively mute in high-stress situations), so i can't physically tell them about it. anyone have any tips/things to remember when i tell them (most likely over email)?

i have a few tips!!
though i myself haven't told my parents so take this with a grain of salt :)

• only do it when you really think you're ready (that one's obvi but whatever)
• try and explain it slowly. don't explain it too quickly, or else it's gonna be hard to understand
• try and accept that they may not accept you for it. there's a chance they could dislike you for your regression, but accepting that before you tell them makes the pain of unacceptance hurt a little less

i'm getting my first adult paci in three days and i'm so stupidly excited-

speaking of those, my gf got me an adult paci last week and hoo boy am i glad she did-
it's been doing wonders for me, especially when i'm in headspace- i used to resort to thumb-sucking so having the paci is great, mostly so no fingers get bitten on accident- those fingers being my own-

lmao i hear that- i've got a few baby pacis but they're not great for adult teeth, so i'm super glad to be switching over ^^

I accidentally regressed during my drama class a couple of weeks ago and it was performance day

Thank god someone else knew what was happening and looked after me enough that I could stay to do the performances properly

I'm kinda sad though because I kinda want them to be my cg but I don't know how to ask, how do you talk to people?

I'm kinda late to this, but you might mention to them casually how you don't have anyone to take care of you in headspace, and you wish you did, then let them put the pieces together? if they don't bring up caring for you, you might consider just outright asking.

when i'm not regressing, i like jojo's bizarre adventure, the promised neverland, and shows of that sort-
when i am regressing, however, i put on shows like steven universe, sanders sides, etc
