Welcome to the Euphorion Star System. In the year 4000, Earth's missions to other solar systems and galaxies have long since been successful, and humans are scattered all over galaxy after galaxy. Euphorion is one of the best examples of this, a close ally of the Milky Way and major trade export. Despite inter-species scuffles, issues, and even wars, the Stars are as peaceful as they can be.

Or, they were, at least. Exactly two years ago, sixteen year old Morrigan Cadeyrn, the heir to Euphorion's Throne, was kidnapped. And that's when things went downhill. Lost in grief, the King allowed most of his decisions to his advisers, quite a few of whom had nobody's interests at heart but their own.

Now eighteen, the missing Princess is believed dead, and has become somewhat of a legend, still whispered about on the streets. Only, she isn't dead.

Making her way about the Star System, Morrigan has been alluding everyone from the police to her kidnappers, as a criminal, runaway, and troublemaker. When she's caught by the captain of the ship she's been stowing away on, The Harbinger, she realizes that it's about time she reclaimed her place on the Throne, for the sake of the Star System, and to prevent the impending wars between planets that are brewing.

  1. No OP characters, or I will yeet your ass outta here before you can say 'this bitch empty'. I can't stand invincible characters, man.

  2. Proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization, please. I can get making a few mistakes, when you're tired, or English ain't your first language(It's mine, and even I have my issues), but if it's too common a thing, it irks the hell outta me. Call me a bitch, but hey.

  3. Slurs, homophobia, transphobia, rascism, sexism, anything that ends in -ism and that harms or promotes the harm of other people will not be tolerated. See my first threat.

  4. Detailed-ish responses, please. Think three or more sentences. To keep it going.

  5. I have the full right to add and edit this list. I also have the right to boot you if you're causing too many problems.

I know what you're thinking. Hey, aren't you supposed to be working to keep from failing three classes, and probably shouldn't be starting up yet another roleplay with a shitty plot? And the answer is yes, yes I am.

Name: Morrigan "Cade" Cadeyrn
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Appearance: Choppily cut dark red hair to a little below her shoulders, that blazes like a fire in direct sunlight. Lighter skin, can tan, but it takes a lot of work, so she never really bothered. Bruises hella easy though. Smattering of freckles on her cheeks and nose. Her right arm has been replaced by a mechanical prosthetic(think Shiro, from VLD, if you must.), and there are visible scars on her shoulder where it was attached. Covered in various scars. 5'4, and still has some of the natural curves she inherited, though she's developed more wiry muscle as a result of malnourishment. Her eyes are an extremely light golden-brown that, when she uses her abilities, turns more to the gold side.
Usual Outfit: An olive green army jacket, rolls the sleeves up when she needs to or feels like it, but prefers keeping them down to hide her arm. A black camisole-like top, and ripped blue jeans, tucked into old black combat boots. Her jeans have spots of grease stains and soot, like she'd wiped her palms off after sticking her hands into a fire place. The only thing she managed to keep during her days as a prisoner was the coin-like pendant on a leather cord, a gift from her mother before she died. She never takes it off now. Wears a pair of finger less black leather gloves, and keeps a handgun tucked into the waistband of her jeans, and a few knives in her jacket and boots.
Personality: She used to be an incredibly bubbly and happy girl, but the past two years have, understandably, taken their toll on her. She's more cynical and jaded now, and mysterious when it comes to her past. Loves playing Moral Roulette. Seems to have lost her sense of self-preservation somewhere along the line, resulting in fairly reckless behavior.
Likes: Her gun, anything and everything about the stars, fire, spicy food, a good fight, pulling off an escape, black coffee.
Dislikes: Too-sweet things, being alone, not being able to see, tea, any mentions of Eiriosis(a fictional disease, but real in this 'universe').
Magic(if applicable): She's descended from a species that can withstand extreme heat, and basically turn themselves into beings of fire. This has materialized in pyrokinesis, but it saps her energy if used too much, and is incredibly hard to control.
Backstory: Her family was incredibly close, something that was somewhat odd for a royal family. Her mother contracted Eiriosis when Morrigan was twelve, and passed away two years later. Her death brought Morrigan and her father closer, instead of pushing them apart. When Morrigan was sixteen, she was kidnapped by one of the new servants, and held captive for a year and a half before managing to escape.
Fears: Losing someone she loves to Eiriosis, like she did her mother. Being caught by the people she's running from. Losing control.
Other: Trigger happy might be an understatement.

(hey i like the idea, but can you give me a little bit until i read your chara?
also, what would my character have to be like if i joined?)

Deleted user

(k, ive read and i would like to officially ask
and what does Eiriosis entail)

@croccin-champagne

Eiriosis is basically a disease that slowly shuts down your body from the inside out. It's an incredibly painful disease, and a miracle that Morrigan's mom survived it that long, likely thanks to that good ol' magical fire running through her veins

i think ill use iniko as the main but nico as like the right hand man

i have another character that i have to do first, but ill get this done as soon as i can)

Name: Iniko Tobias
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Iniko has dark blue hair that is shaved on one side. His eyes both look blue, but one is more green. His skin is tanned, and his left ear is pierced. If you look closely you can see that his fingers are webbed.
Usual Outfit: He wears what can only be called a scuba diving suit. It is a light blue and has a ring type thing around it
Personality: Iniko is kind and humorous. He can occasionally not trust easily, but often he’s trusting. He is a good judge of character and knows who not to trust from first glance. Females also seem to be intimidated by him, which he finds odd and wishes it would stop.
Likes: Water, the Harbinger, his crew
Dislikes: Untrustworthy people, authority
Magic: Hydrokinesis. Can manipulate the water, can draw it from the air, that kind of stuff. He also has a very mild form of aerokinesis, as he can manipulate the oxygen in water, but only in water.
Backstory: Iniko is…not quite human. His mother is a siren-mermaid, and his father is human. He got more of his father, surprisingly. He didn’t receive his mother’s ability to drag sailors to their death, and he didn’t receive her tail. In fact, all he managed to get from her was webbed hands and hydrokinesis.
When Iniko was about 15, his parents bought him the Harbinger. He ran it with his best friend Nico and a couple others of their friends as a joke. Over the next five years, it kinda became their job. And the crew is slowly getting bigger.
Fears: Pigeons, unnatural death, fire to a certain extent
Other:

(he ok?)

Four hours. Morrigan had been on this ship-the Harbinger, maybe?- for four, long hours. She wasn't sure how long it'd be till the crew's next destination, which was as far as she would travel with them, but she hoped it would be soon. That grinding coming from the engine room was driving her insane, but she couldn't exactly do anything about it, considering she was stowing away.

It was would have been safer to stay in one place, a nook or cranny or closet, and she knew that. But she had long since given up on safety, half a year ago, and switched quickly to enjoying life while she could. Which was exactly why Morrigan was slipping down the empty, she hoped, hallway, her sleeves pulled down to hide her arm and her gun still tucked away. A bad choice, on her part, as she was suddenly met with voices, and two people, just a few feet from her.

(is…one of those people iniko? just wondering)

East and West, a pair of twins in Harbinger's motley crew, were chatting in the hallways. Nico had allowed most of the crew the night off while he and Iniko sorted out the travel path for the next week or so.
"Man, I wish I was in Nico's place," East sighed.
"Being Iniko's second-in-command?" West asked.
"No, being close to him. I mean, have you seen him? His blue hair is just so perfect."
"Ah, geez, East."

West heard a noise. It was almost like a rustling, quite close. He almost left it alone, but then he heard the sound of shallow, withdrawn breathing. He looked around the corner, expecting to see the asthmatic Patrick. He was surprised to find a red-haired girl, someone who was definitely not Patrick. "You're not supposed to be here!" He yelled, cutting off his brother mid-sentence.

@croccin-champagne

"No shit." The words were out of Morrigan's mouth before she could even think to stop them, and she half-winced inwardly. On the outside, she was oddly relaxed, and casual about the fact that she'd just been caught stowing away. No gun, not yet. You don't know how close you are to the next landing.

West pulled out a rope that was attatched to his belt. He teleported behind Morrigan and tied her hands together. His magic was teleporting, but he could teleport no further than 500m at a time. "You're coming to Captain Tobias."

@croccin-champagne

Morrigan froze, stomping down the panic rising at the rope around her wrists. Honestly, with the strength in her arm, and the tricks she'd picked up(not to mention the knife sewn into the hem of her jacket), she could probably get out of them fairly easy. That didn't help with the memories though. Shaking off her thoughts, she put on an easy grin, turning her head to wink at the guy who'd tied her hands up. "Whatever ya say, man. I'll humor ya for now."

Deleted user

East popped his head around the corner, seeing his brother with a tied-up woman. "Well, aren't you a little stowaway?" He teased. "Taking her to Captain Tobias? Good choice."

@croccin-champagne

"Well, le's get this show on the road then." Morrigan said, already subtly preparing to work out of the bindings. She tossed her head to get her hair out of her face, looking down the hallway in each direction. "Y'all'll have t' lead the way, since I got no clue where this Cap'n's at."

Deleted user

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," East smirked. "I know what you're thinking. Don't do it." It didn't take long for the trio to reach the Captain's office. East knocked on the door, as he had free hands.
"Come in!" A voice yelled on the other side of the door, and East opened it.
"Captain Tobias," East said, saluting. "We found a stowaway."
"Alright. Leave them here." The twins saluted and then left.

@croccin-champagne

"What, like imma listen t' that?" Morrigan muttered, as the ropes fell away. Tense and twist. Easy. She looked around, debating just walking away and hiding out in the engine room, but the thought of that grinding noise made her wrinkle her nose. "Well, this ain't how I imagined this goin' but a'ight." She said, stepping into the room and leaning against the wall by the door.

Deleted user

A heavy cabinet appeared in front of the door, materialised by Nico. The door was the only exit from the office, which he knew. "Now," Iniko said, leaning straight and turning around. He caught sight of Morrigan immediately, leaning back and putting his hand on the table. "Who are you? And why did you sneak onto my ship?"

@croccin-champagne

It's like someone gave them a list of things to trigger me, without telling them what the list was about. Morrigan thought wryly, crossing her arms over her chest casually. Her metal fingers caught the light for a moment, before they were tucked under her other, flesh arm. "For a ride, obviously. As for my name, Cade'll work just fine."
