I don't have a concrete idea. I was thinking Earth, but instead of the advances in science and technology, there were discoveries in magic and magical creatures. For example, instead of the Salem Trials, it was people who made the tiniest, most basic machinery that were burned at the stake.

If in america than I was thinking like native american type stuff. What do you consider the point where machines would be considered magic in our world?
