Hey, everyone! L.C. here~! I'd like to get your opinion on this: I've made a condition that would kind of counteract the rarest (maybe second) most powerful magic in my world, which is the ability to use the concept of time to the user's advantage. So this condition is called ADS. Or Aeon's Delirium Syndrome. I mentioned it in another thread…

[He has] a condition which is named Aeon's Delirium Syndrome or ADS that causes what seem like seizures. The person that experiences this phenomena will often experience time-lapses and very rarely glimpses into the past. They also can see the future, but there's a 75% chance that the future they've seen will not be that they will experience, thus it's only 25% accurate.

The symptoms often appear all at once (in what i've so aptly named flare-ups…. Working on a better name for that.) before the actual seizures begin. symptoms other the ones above usually including the following:

  • temperature fluctuation
  • dizziness
  • nausea

I created this condition to help offset the ridiculously powerful notion of being able to eventually learn how to manipulate time, and incorporate the magic within the condition as well so that the two become inseparable in a way. Do you think this is wise? If not, what can I do as an alternative? What do you think of what I have so far, overall? Do you think all the magic in my world should operate in a similar way?

Looking forward to hearing from you all! <3

I think this is a perfect way to counteract but still keep to the ability to look into the future. It could be smoothly incorporated into a world/roleplay/book/story or whatever you are using it for and help continue the plot and create plot events/complications even. I love it!
